Helsinki Cathedral

Being the most iconic building of the city of Helsinki. It was built in 1852 during the rebuilding of the city of Helsinki after being named the capital of the Great Duchy of Finland by the emperor Alexander I of Russia.

Church in the Rock

A Lutheran church was built directly into solid rock in the neighborhood of Töölö in Helsinki. The church was designed by the Finnish architect brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and opened to the public in 1969.
